Drive Multisport, LLC has grown over the past couple of years, and we are seeking a qualified endurance coach to join our team. 

This associate coach must have demonstrated experience in swimming, cycling, and running.

Drive Multisport endurance coaching provides targeted and personalized coaching services to athletes in the US and internationally. We work with motivated and goal-oriented athletes who have a passion for endurance sports and want to maximize their potential within the constraints of busy families and full careers. We work with athletes of all abilities – from first- and second-year athletes to amateur elites. 

The mission at Drive Multisport is to provide triathletes, ultra-distance runners, with an exceptional, service-oriented coaching experience focused on communication, guidance, and performance feedback. Our coaching philosophy centers around thoughtful goal setting, acting on available performance information and feedback, and creating shared accountability between the athlete and the coach. This will allow athletes to have healthy and positive training and racing experiences, maintain passion for their sport and create a desire to give back to the endurance community.

Coaches may live anywhere (including abroad), taking advantage of various digital platforms to communicate with and provide quality coaching for our clients.  

The position will start as part-time contract work. Pay is based on a percentage of the services provided and the number of new athletes brought inside Drive. The pay rate is based upon the level of experience and is competitive with coaching industry standards. Drive will handle all inquiries, invoicing, and other administrative functions.

Qualifications Required:

  • USA Triathlon (USAT) Level 1 certification (or equivalent governing body certification from another country).  A well-qualified coach would also have USA Cycling (USAC) certification. 

  • Minimum, 1-year experience, coaching long course athletes (both 70.3 and 140.6)

  • Minimum, 1-year experience, coaching distance runners up to the marathon

  • Applied experience with power meters (power certification would be a plus)

  • Working knowledge and experience with the Training Peaks platform

  • Ability to create custom endurance sports programming, training analysis based on heart rate, power, pace, etc.  

  • Ability to develop and support race planning for individual events

  • Ability to conduct form analysis for run and swim (video, virtual, in-person)

  • Basic understanding of nutrition and race fueling for endurance sports/ training/ events
